You can contact the Community Partners group or the development office at your local Red Cross chapter, and ask them what successful fundraisers have been run by schools in the past. Good luck!

http://data.un.org/Data.aspx?q=export&d=CDB&f=srID%3a6200 This is the UN's archive. It has total marchandise exports for countries around the world upto year 2006 (not 2007). http://www.stat.go.jp/data/sekai/zuhyou/0906.xls The spreadsheet is more detailed version from the Japanese Department of Statistics. It's all in Japanese, but has all the data between 2002 and 2006 (not for 2001 & 2007 unfortunately...), so I recommend you to chuck the whole thing into some online translation. By the way, line 6 is the total amount, and 57 is Australia. Also, sheet 1 shows export & sheet 2 shows import. You gotta really becareful with scaling though - all the numbers are x1million yen (where, 1yen = 1c, 100yen = $1). For example, in 2002, 1.038754trillion yen (around AU$11billion) of exports to Australia. http://www.stat.go.jp/data/sekai/09.htm#g09-00 Here is the original page. Again, it's all Japanese but has links to few other graphs & tables too.

How can a 14 year old American make money in Japan?

How can a 14 year old American make money in Japan?
I'm a 14 year old who lives on an American military base in Japan, and I was wondering how I could make money. I was considering teaching basic English for a fee to the locals off-base, but I'm not sure if that would be O.K.

Sell video games.

Make zips, or toys like the rest of the kids do there

You might consider trading Japanese for English lessons. Becoming fluent in a second (or third) language will be to your advantage when you are older.
4 :
Sell your used underwear, the Japanese are a nation of perverts and would pay good money for your unwashed smalls.

How do mangakas in Japan make money?

How do mangakas in Japan make money?
I was reading some recent chapters of Bakuman And I think it said something about how if your manga doesnt last for a year, then you dont get paid anything, or something like that. How often do mangakas in japan actually get paid, and also...how much do they usually get paid?

LOL they get paid if people buy their manga cause you are buying THEIR manga. Thats their main way. As for the magazines that publish them I wouldn't know. Maybe they do get paid? Do some research

umm, no. They do get paid, I don't know how much, but every year their manga is running they get a raise. I'm pretty sure they get paid per manuscript. Like, every week/month, or however much they draw. Bakuman is amazing btw. I would never ever guess the same people made Death Note
