Is it possible to still make a mistake in wiring money from Citibank Japan?
My husband been sending money to my US account for the 5th time already. This month was a delay. He told me that he had a bank account number mistake. So, Citibank has to track the wire to a wrong account and return it to his account and that is the time to transfer to my bank account. He do the telephone banking. Like he calls everytime he sends money. I thought that there is an imput of name and bank account whenever you send money especially many times or is it possible that everytime he calls citibank employee, he has to give my account number again? Hope there is an answer or any experience of wrong account number from you guys. I need an answer if this is possible especially CITIBANk JAPAN. Thanks much. ANA

Yes it is possible to send money to the wrong account in Citibank. I have an International account with them and although, so far, I have never made a mistake with the numbers, they always warn you to double check before you submit the exchange as it can take a long time to correct if you get it wrong. Yes, it is..in many cases.... I reviewed your question so far, you mentioned he calls everytime he do the banking...as most of the staffs is not a native speaker of English, might there be a misunderstanding or hard hearing the correct number your husband gave.. but as he gave your name it would be track down for there might be more than one name like your name so they would asked to give your account number... Just to remind you, there are many staffs working on Citibank and misunderstanding always happen as even we showed in person we always find a lot of errors from bank transactions. I agree Western Union does good even it charge more because it is fast and safe for one hour just give the name of the person you are sending the money.. hope this helps! good day!

I know Dubai and UAE are quite popular, and those jobs on ships, even though it looks soooo hard to be a 24 7 slave for ungratefully rich people, but do you have any website where I could find job, contract or not, in a foreign country where money flows ? I dont have much qualifications, except speaking some languages, I mean academic qualifications,

How can our school make money for Japan?
How can our school make money for Japan?
I want our school to raise money for Japan, but I don't know what to do. I was going to have all the kids bring in stuff that they didn't use, and have like a "School Garage Sale" and sell everything for like $2.00. But then I realized, I don't know if it would work because a lot of people might not want to buy bad things. Any other ideas that our school can do? P.S. Our school has a bake sale like every week for a different cause, so I want something new. :) Thanks Also, what are your thoughts on my idea? Do you think it will work?

bake sale party a "run" talent show sports game

Put on a concert and have celebrities donate there tallent to rase money. You can get that going.

you can do loads of things school dance maybe $10 a ticket go around the cafeteria with a cup to put coins in and ask for donation (it doesnt get much but it gets something my school does this all the time) set up a bunch of games or something in the gym and either charge however much money is worth the stuff you have for entry or allow free and charge like maybe $5 to play the games selling everyone's old junk actually isnt a bad idea some people like that stuff you could even have a car wash if you don't like these ideas i'm sure if you just look up how to raise money on google you'll get hundreds of results.

Can I make money vlogging in Japan?
I'm going to Japan when I graduate from college. I plan to stay there as long as possible (until get deported or forever if i can get citizenship), but I'm still learning to speak Japanese and I can barely write/read Japanese. I know I won't be able to get a real job because of my bad Japanese so I was thinking of doing a daily vlog and posting it on youtube. I know all the popular vloggers make a 6 figure income, but is it possible for me to make enough money to live just starting out as a vlogger?

If you are not Japanese looking there is a very high chance of police officers asking you for your ID (either your passport or your alien registration card). If you're there illegally (past 90 days straight on a tourist visa and without a different visa) you will be deported and barred from the country for a long period of time. That aside, it will be very tough but never give up on your dreams :)
