I think the symbol of the rising sun best suits japan, because it personifies their mentality of persistence, elegance, culture, beauty, and pride. Not to mention how they always recover brighter and better than before after every event in their history (Internal feudal wars, WW2, This earthquake, etc.) And their discipline (to rise every morning and shine at full potential every day) amongst other things . There are so many other reasons as well, but it'd take a while to explain, so I'll end my explanation there.

This is my representation/painting/donation of Japanese culture... http://www.etsy.com/listing/70179913/japan-koi-fish-watercolor-original-8x10?ref=pr_shop Here's my reasoning for the painting the way it is (taken directly from my site): This is a watercolor painting of two koi fish. They are painted over in a golden interference, as seen in the second two pictures. This interference is not noticeable when facing the painting at a ninety-degree angle, but when you start to tilt it, it shimmers as if the fish are swimming. It's a really cool effect. Really, actually, it's the Japanese flag--see the red dot? Well, I wanted to include the koi because I thought it was kinda bland without more detail. Furthermore, since Japan is "land of the rising sun", I included mountains (asian style) to emphasize this (the red dot in the flag is said to be the sun). The characters on the left say: "Peace, Love, Hope--Japan" or, it could also be translated into "Peace, Love, and look after Japan". The characters on the right is my Chinese name, '11.

stop worrying yer 13 if they wont let you out there thinking of your safety try buying and selling penny shares you can do it from home on the internet but just a few pennies at first

With babysitting out of the question, and you unable to get paid for chores around your house, why don't you try chores for someone else? I remember years ago when I was growing up, kids your age would "make a business" doing chores for other people. It could be mowing their lawn, or washing their car or some other such choir like raking leaves. The other common one was delivering news papers. Or offer to help a neighbor with some project they have been meaning to get to...like if the person next door plans on cleaning out their garage, ask if you can help them for a few bucks. Many of these things don't require any "prep" time (such as lemonade stands). I'm in an isolated location (no neighbors), and I can say I would love it if some teenager came over and offered to wash my car (with everything else I never have time to get to it).

I just see a slight problem with your intentions to listen to an Ipord and head off to Japan while your family is sinking in debt and financial / legal trouble. Maybe it's just me but you should look at your priorities. For money ideas, get to the library and check out "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew. There are alot of teens who have profitable businesses but they obtained them with realistic goals and hard work. You can too. It's important to focus on your needs before your wants.
5 :
Organize neighbors' garages for $10 apiece. Once they see how hard you work, they will hire you for other jobs. When you turn 14 you can caddy at the local golf course. You go home with money in your pocket every day.

My Mother and I want to put up a money transfer business here in the Philippines. How do we start?

My Mother and I want to put up a money transfer business here in the Philippines. How do we start?
We've been transferring money from Japan to the Philippines for more than 5 years now. We service Yokohama-residents and nearby cities. It's not registered with any local governmental agencies. But this time, I'd like to make it legal & recognized by the government. But I don't know how it goes. I wish somebody out there can help me by providing details.

Why would people come to you for this service? Can you do it more cheaply than the banks? I've been transferring money to the Philippines from Canada for five years, and it costs only about P1200-P1300. What guarantees can you give the senders and receivers that the money will actually get there? (Don't misunderstand me, I'm not being negative here, just curious about the viability of a private service that the banks can perform safely and efficiently now.)

Im trying to raise money for a missions trip to japan, is this idea illegal?

Im trying to raise money for a missions trip to japan, is this idea illegal?
My idea is, we will make a group on facebook, and we will be asking people to send 5$ or more to help support our trip to japan (aka with our church group) so that we can minister and give them blankets, food, water ETC. But when they send 5$ or more, we send back a Support Japan braclet, and if you send more that 5$ we send extra item and etc. Is this a good idea? and is it illegal>..

Its a good idea. Its not illegal because you are sending stuff in return. If you werent sending anything it would be soliciting money but you are so its ok.
2 :
There are already enough groups in Japan providing blankets, food, water and other things the disaster victims need. One thing they don't need is missionaries going in there trying to proselytize them.
3 :
As a Christian, your prayers are enough. If you must, you can donate to the Red Cross or other reputable (search online for this) organisations who will use your money wisely. Don't put yourself in harms way

Let me know if this works. I've been trying to figure out how to get to Japan for free for a while now. What I like about your idea is that I can get to go with spending money as well. Great idea.
