How a teen can make money for a trip?

How a teen can make money for a trip?
I'm too young for a job, and i'm going on an approx. $4600.00 trip to Japan in April that i have to pay for myself. I need help to make money any suggestions are helpful! There's no one in my neighborhood to babysit, and yardwork is a no-no. I've already asked my parents if they'll pay me to do extra chores around the house, and i already get an allowance (not that it'll help). I make stuff and sell it (art) and i'm probably going to sell my old stuff either on eBay or in a garage sale. Please, no lemonade stands AND NO ONLINE SURVEYS. I'm too young for a job - legally. My parents said 'they'd think about it' when i asked if theyd pay me to do extra chores. yardwork is a 'no-no' because it rains all the time, and when it isnt raining, its suuuper hot outside.

play guitar or some instrument on a busy street corner with a case or hat for collecting money.

Why are you too young for a job? What did your parents say when you asked if they'll pay you to do extra chores? Why is yardwork a "no-no"? It seems to me you're looking for an excuse as to why you can't work. Your question shows you have a pretty good idea of the options available. If you're sincere about wanting to make enough money to fund the trip, you'll find a way.

If there's a will, there's a way, you definately have the determination and have put some serious thought into this, just remember you can do it! I'm saving up for my trip right now, I got a job at a kitchen working dishwasher! Its good money and as long as you can put away dishes, be organized and effiecient, there's no age restrictions. Theres plenty of others too! Just screw what people think, even if you have to work at macdonalds, save up for the trip, life is all about experiences. Make sure to send resumes out everywhere. Just don't let your work get in the way of school, if you dont save up enough, I'm sure there will be more eventually, keep your head up kid, your young you got your whole life to live, live it to the fullest, its good setting goals. Now go do it! I believe in you! ps, along the way there might be some tough times and some roadblocks, ie parents, co-workers, friends. Remember just stay positive and dont listen to what other people say. Good luck!!! Mike.
